monday menu

on friday night i made the most delicious turkey meatballs.

ingredients:
1 package ground turkey - roughly 500g
2 oz. breadcrumbs
2 oz. parmesan cheese
1 egg, beaten
chopped onion, to taste

instructions:
pre-heat oven to 350°F. line baking sheet with foil and scoop out balls (roll with hands) and place on the sheet. bake for 20-30 minutes depending on how brown you like the outside. amazing!

i used a lot of onion in big chops because i love onion. i can imagine you can add various spices/seasonings to change up the flavour as well. yum yum.

MMMM those meatballs sound yummy! I'll have to give those babies a try. I've actually never tried ground turkey before, weird, I know. That will be my mission for this week. Grocery night is around the corner!

katieo: i had actually typed out "no, i didn't take this picture" under the pic and then erased it. my meatballs were served with whole wheat spaghetti, tomato sauce, and eaten on a messy plate in front of the tv.

randi: i'm interested. i will make a post soon!

carolyn: i've used ground turkey in this recipe: http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-recipes/salsa-sloppy-joes/ and it's very tasty!
